FILIPINO LANGUAGE: FROM BALER TO THE WHOLE ARCHIPELAGO

Where did the Filipino Language came from?

We all know that a lot of our ancestors fight for us to have our national language. One of

them was Manuel L Quezon, the first president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines and

named the father of Philippine National Language. He is born from Baler were he started to

dream for us Filipinos to have our common national language. Then when he became the

president he created the Institute of National Language. In November 1937 the Institute

recommended the adoption of Tagalog as the National Language and ordered it to be taught as a

subject in schools.

Now almost all of us Filipinos knows how to speak this language. And until now we still

used and we are very proud of it.
